QuickPay Next to Market With Mobile Credit Card Swiper ROAMpay
|
Square’s been struggling to get their on-the-go credit card swiping method out to the thousands of small business owners who need it, but another challenger has stepped up to the Android table. QuickPay is now offering their ROAMpay Swiper – which does exactly what it sounds like – for a plethora of devices (including our dear Android, of course.) Below is a demo of the iPhone version, but as we always urge, the Android version should be no different.
“In an effort to help mobile based clients that are always on the go, we felt that it was important to add an affordable device like this to our product line up,” explains Geoffrey Lau, V.P. of Sales for QuickPay. “Because we feel that this product is superb among other devices, we are offering a free device to new clients that want to try this out.”
I must admit, I was ignorant to these types of payment systems once they first hit the market, but it was just my security OCD getting the best of me as I quickly found out that there really is no risk for you or your customers to use this. For QuickPay’s case, just take a gander at their privacy and security policies if you’re not feeling it quite yet. Full press details lie below.

Not a small buisiness owner or such, but I still think this is pretty cool.
