The device is supposed to have OpenOffice suite, and Firefox Web browser, using a version of Linux as an OS. Remember how these items are sometimes shown to the press, as little as a slide show with bullet points from the manufacturer. Most people thought the Optimus Maximus keyboard was vaporware because of how long it was in development. A nice overview that’s always funny. If you want cut and dried tech specs try Tom’s Hardware. Very informative with not so much humor.

FAIL

This is absurd.

First. The Operating System of that silly little computer is NOT a web browser. Most likely it is Linux. Every web browser requires a base OS. Get a clue.

Second. Nobody knows what is really going on with Android. Google and partners have been playing things very close to the chest these past few months. All of these wild speculative rumors are started by bored analysts or borderline tabloid tech news sites. Ignore them.

This was a good buzz report. Maybe one tear. Like the Google analogy.
