Android on Rhodium (Touch Pro 2, Tilt 2) Updated Build
This is a follow up video to my original Android on Rhodium video. It’s pretty much a progress report of last months video. Here are some of the major changes that’s been going on in porting Android over to the Rhodium devices. Things that work (voice calls, sms, txt, data, android market, google maps, livewallpaper *Nexus One style wallpapers, in fact when you sign in with your gmail account on the phone google sends you an e-mail congratulating you on your purchase of the Nexus One!!!*, hardware key mapping *Tilt 2 keyboard layout still not mapped yet.*) Things that don’t work (WiFi, Bluetooth, Camera, GPS, G-Sensor, Sound, Power management) Things that were fixed since last video (screen alignment issues fixed, voice calls, sms, txt, data) The devs at XDA are making good progress with this project, expect to see more functionality very soon as they are all working hard to come up with a build we can use on a daily basis but for now these builds are too unstable and incomplete to be used as your full time phone OS. ***NEW LINKS**** Until i have time to put up a fresh video here is links for the new XDA Builds. sites.google.com You can install it using the old .rar method or full automated method via .cab file (just remember to install into your Storage Card and NOT the device itself) References: Package Build – (The build package I used in this video, basically the latest XDANDROID build with the latest zImage config files specifically for the Rhodium) – hotfile.com XDA …
I have a problem with wifi. When I go to Settings it just keeps on saying searching and never gives me a list of signals. W-fi works beautifully with windows 6.5. Any1 having a similar problem?
so this is going to be my first time tryin to run android, so i should download the first link under preferences? and i just follow what you do on the video?

when I try doing this I don’t get the “X” android loading boot up screen. Instead I mine says “Android” and does nothing no matter how long I let it sit…. What am I doing wrong? I have the files on the root of my SD card and am trying to use the 2.1 software.

well i installed it and well it stays about 30 mins in terminal but still nothing what should i do
